Each class is approximately 40 minutes long and covers a different topic. There are overall around 80 topics that we dive into during our Mini Professors classes. Despite having a different topic each week, the structure of a lesson is consistent. We start with a song and a small introduction about the topic of the week. Then we proceed to the first experiment. During the lesson children will do two hands-on experiments. We work with real materials and equipment, test our theories and draw conclusions together. After the first experiment, we reiterate what we learned with a short video and a storybook. This allows children to learn using different media and make sure that they retain information they get during the lesson in a fun way. The book is followed by the second experiment. Then we will discuss our findings, sum up the lesson and sing the song to say goodbye.
