Terms and Conditions

Mini Professors Den Haag Terms and Conditions

Mini Professors' terms and conditions aim to present a fair sustainable structure to all. We aim to provide the highest quality classes for all our customers, as is our need to secure the regular employment to secure the best class leaders and venues available.

We are committed to the safety of all persons who attend our lessons and to deliver the highest standard of service.

Participating in a Mini Professors class is entirely at your own risk without any proven negligence, breach of duty of care or lack of due diligence by Mini Professors Ltd., your local franchise or its employees.

Classes may be provided individually or as a term

When you place an order, you may purchase individual Classes, or you may purchase a set of Classes together (a “Term”).

When you purchase Classes individually

Each Class will be provided on the date stated in our acceptance of your order.

When you purchase a Term of Classes

Your Term will commence on the date of the first Class. We will supply our Services to you until either the Services are completed and your Term expires, or this Contract is otherwise brought to an end by you or us under these terms.

Trial classes

Trial classes are offered at a discounted rate and are only available to new customers.

Price of services

The price of the Services (which includes VAT where applicable) will be the price indicated on our website from time to time, and the price you have been charged will be as on our confirmation of your order.

Payment Methods

We will inform you of what payment methods we can accept and when you must pay for the Services at the time of placing your order. Your payment will be held securely and will not be processed until we accept your order. Payment for our Services must have been made in full as agreed between you and us before we provide any of our Services to you.

Confirmation of place

If payment is made through any other way than card payment using the online booking system, your place will only be confirmed once a full payment is received in our bank account. If you pay using the online booking system, you will receive an automated reply confirming your place.

Refunds

A course or event may be cancelled provided you inform Mini Professors Den Haag in writing to denhaag@miniprofessors.nl within seven (7) days of the course commencing. Please note there may be an administration charge of up to one class.

You may offer your place to a friend as a gift provided you inform your class leader.

Holidays and sickness policy

Regrettably we cannot offer discounts or refunds to cover your booked holidays or sickness days due to the need to ensure continuity of service.
You may offer your place to a friend who also has a child to a lesson you know you are unable to attend. You would need to inform your class leader in this instance.

Sibling discount

Mini Professors offers local discounts for siblings. For children younger than four years, a parent with more than one child in the lesson will need to have either another adult or an arrangement with another parent, should they need to take one of the children to the bathroom. The class leader can never be responsible for your child.

Supervision and withdrawal of service

During regular classes for children under four years old, all children must be supervised at all times (including during Classes) and not left unattended. The class leader cannot be responsible for a child of this age at any time. Should a carer or associated visitor behave in a way that the class leader feels is unreasonable then the company reserves the rights to withdraw the provision of classes to the client.

As long as we have provided the Services with reasonable skill and care, we will not be liable to you for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you or a child for whom you are responsible as a consequence of you not following our instructions during the provision of our Classes or Services.

Children enrolled in classes for four to six year olds, afterschool clubs or holiday camps, participate in the class without the presence of a parent or a guardian. An exception can be made for the first three classes for children aged four if they feel uncomfortable to stay without a parent.

If you continually cancel orders placed with us or breach our terms

We understand that there may be many valid reasons for you to cancel or request to change the date and time of your Class place. However, the nature of our Classes means there are limited spaces, and we rely on customers keeping to their arranged Classes where possible. If you continually cancel your Class place without a good reason, we reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to not accept further orders from you. We also may at our absolute discretion, not accept further orders where you have previously committed a material breach, or repeated breaches of these terms (be that with the same or a different Franchisee to which an order is now being placed).

Renewals

No later than two weeks before your term runs out your class leader will ask you whether you wish to renew for another term. The class leader will inform you of the mechanism to rebook your space and payment terms. Note however that places remain on a first come first served basis.

Cancellation of Classes policy

Mini Professors Den Haag will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. snowy or stormy conditions. However, should we need to cancel due to safety concerns, parents will be notified/contacted (please check Mini Professors Den Haag Facebook or Instagram page or a class WhatsApp group and make sure your phone number is kept up to date on our register).
An additional class will be offered if we have to cancel a class or refund against a future term's fees. Regrettably we cannot automatically offer cash refunds.

You confirm that you and your child are able to take part in our Classes

By placing an order or attending a Class, you agree that both you and any child under your care or supervision are able to take part in our Classes or any other Services which you order from us, and that it would not be harmful to either your or your child’s health, safety, comfort or physical condition to do so. Please note, we will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage suffered where you do not tell us about a medical condition, or you or the child do an activity which you are aware (or should have been aware) would, or might be, detrimental to you or the child.

We cannot offer a refund for a lesson missed due to illness. You may offer your place to a friend, who also has a child, to the lesson. You would need to inform your class leader in this instance.

We are not responsible for delays outside our control.

If our supply of the Services is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. These steps may include offering rescheduled dates for the Classes. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay and we are not able to reschedule the Classes, you may contact us to end the Contract and receive a refund for any Services you have paid for but not received.
